I am definitely not signing up for any more races over the summer. It is just too hot and I have discovered that I do not like running in the heat. I'll see how I feel in the fall about running another race.I do plan on going for a run tomorrow morning since it has cooled of some. How about I post how it goes. How about you? Are you still running?

I have had to take a break from running because of this awful heat -- my body just doesn't work well in it. BUT, it's been cool here lately and I'm going to take a run, TODAY, when my husband gets home!! :) :) Did you go for a run this morning? Praying everything is going really well with you...

Thanks! Yep- getting excited. I need to go check out running course this week or next. I wish that there were more time to practice with running and walking together and see if that could get my time down. I think I'll try to run the whole thing and just stop and walk for short times as needed.

Tired Tired. I was just gonna let myself stop and walk, but saw that I only had 4 min left. Another 2 min in, I remembered that I was doing 28 minutes . I pushed through. Very humid out-yuck.

  12. RUN
    alright 2.28 mi 00:25 10:57 pace

Tired, but glad that I did it without stopping. It just felt like a really hard run. Why am I doing this again?

    • Lindsey
      Lindsey

Because you feel great after you are finished & so proud of yourself and the fact that you can run 25 mins straight... because you have a different energy as you go through your day and because you have a 5k later this month that you know you'll fly through because you have been training so hard and so consistently... is that right? :) :) you're doing awesome Natasha -- keep on keeping on :)

  16. RUN

What do you use to monitor your pace/distance?

Nothing real accurate. I just know how long the run is from the podcast and I know my distance from the map here on Daily mile(I've broken down the sides of the park and all). I'd love to have something more high tech.
