  1. RUN
    good Outside 6.5 mi 01:17 11:51 pace

I've decided the low heart rate training is compromising my general fitness. I'm going to follow the Pfitz plan and add strength and core back in.

Good luck with Pfitz. You aren't picking a bad plan! I liked it even though it was too advanced for me. Can't wait to hear all about it!

  2. RUN
good Gym treadmill 5.5 mi 01:06 12:05 pace

I did the middle three miles a little bit faster today and they weren't all that easy. However, this was three days in a row of running on the treadmill. Tomorrow I'll do something diff... read more

3 days in a row on the treadmill is great... scratch that... it is miserable.

  3. RUN
    good 4 mi 00:49 12:16 pace

I really wanted to go fast but I held back. I don't want to do anything to jeopardize this experiment.

  4. RUN
good Gym Treadmill and gym indoor ... 7.25 mi 01:30 12:22 pace

Not too bad. Slogging along and keeping the heart rate below 155. Keeping it below 135 is virtually impossible and I find I'm dragging my feet when I do it. I'm trying to maintain bet... read more

My HR is running a little high this week. I wonder if it's because I have a cold?

Sounds like that could be it. Good that you still got your run in.

I could have run longer if I wasn't so bored. Didn't realize that Young Frankenstein was on until the last 10 minutes of the movie. I just couldn't bear another 2 miles of Planet o... read more

I only watched the last 10 minutes of Young Frankenstein. The rest of the time I watched Food Network with no sound. To go longer I think I'd have to run faster because at 12:00/mile, it gets way too tedious on the treadmill.

Why does the home treadmill feel so much harder than the gym treadmill? Oh, and this includes walking.

It feels the same to me...I think it's because I have a ton of stuff to do around my house.

No, my home treadmill feels like it has a lot of drag. Like it's on an incline but it's not. I'm off to the gym today.
