I've decided the low heart rate training is compromising my general fitness. I'm going to follow the Pfitz plan and add strength and core back in.

good Gym treadmill 5.5 mi 01:06 12:05 pace
I did the middle three miles a little bit faster today and they weren't all that easy. However, this was three days in a row of running on the treadmill. Tomorrow I'll do something diff... read more

I really wanted to go fast but I held back. I don't want to do anything to jeopardize this experiment.

good Gym Treadmill and gym indoor ... 7.25 mi 01:30 12:22 pace

I only watched the last 10 minutes of Young Frankenstein. The rest of the time I watched Food Network with no sound. To go longer I think I'd have to run faster because at 12:00/mile, it gets way too tedious on the treadmill.

RUN
blah Home Treadmill 2.75 mi 00:38 13:40 pace
Why does the home treadmill feel so much harder than the gym treadmill? Oh, and this includes walking.

Because you know in your heart that you can stop any time and start.....BAKING.

No, my home treadmill feels like it has a lot of drag. Like it's on an incline but it's not. I'm off to the gym today.

Good luck with Pfitz. You aren't picking a bad plan! I liked it even though it was too advanced for me. Can't wait to hear all about it!
