Legs were a bit heavy but not too bad, definately felt the hills today. Went to the group run to get some road running in but today was a trail course...I will get my road fix at SMC tomorrow.

Sounds like a good workout. Tough trail/hills to do without any food!
I've gone for the dodgy powerbars before - but without anyproblems. It's funny what you'll do when you're desperate!

Nice work Natalie. It was a perfect day for a run too. Bugger I was stuck in the office today. I hope the weather holds out for tomorrow.

Certainly is Leeanne. Well done on running the 30k. I was told that the presentations were on at 12 noon and turned up at 11:45am to find they were over : ( I was a little bit annoyed as i was a place getter and it was my first 100 miler. Never mind I still got my medallions. Living in Sydney I only make a few interstate trips for events so I dare say that I will be back for the 100miler again but not the wildhorse 50k. I hope you enjoy the run.

That's a shame :( Many congrats to you for doing the 100, that course is so very hard, not to mention it was 100miles! & congrats also for getting a place - I don't think I could ever do that distance. Wildhorse was my first 10k so I'm re-visiting it for the 50k, it's a nice flat course for cutting my teeth on :>
