      Well, that was Epic. Ended up on some very rough tracks, then hiking for nearly 2 hrs in my road shoes over some pretty gnarly terrain! 50 miles in the sun though and no harm done. Fitness coming back slowly but surely.

    First proper ride out since the accident. Very wet and muddy. Loved it. By jove I'm unfit though. And VERY overweight...

  9. Now I've had my op, just need to get the back stable and I can get on the turbo. Once fully fit I'll do some general easy riding for a few weeks to get back into it and gradually introduce intervals.

    Birmingham circuit race - Felt strong and looking to the podium when got taken out on penultimate lap. Broken back and collarbone. Now immobile for a LONG time :(

    First club 10 of the year last night, legs wouldn't work but cardio wise I felt great, very frustrating. Turned out my seatpost had dropped! I'll be better next week!

  15. Had a crash Sunday, several hours in A+E. Concussion, whiplash and muscular injuries. One year soon will be incident free, I'm sure :c
