    Felt great! It is so much easier running with my group than solo. But I am going to really try to get in at least one solo run in a week.

    First solo run outside. Did a 5:1 run, it was a little tricky going solo in terms of pacing but I feel great that I got out.

      Brace yourself Adam but I've never had coffee but I do get caffeine from diet coke. However, I haven't had any in several days and now my runs are feeling it, lol.

      Jimmie, I won't say I can run until I can do 30 min with no 1 min walks, I'm at 10:1 and 15:1 right now. Next goal will be learning to run outside and to run 5km with no stopping.

    I was using a treadmill that was in miles rather than km, I just couldn't get my pace right - it was a hard run. But I am glad I got in the workout.

    Lesson of the day, watching game 7 hockey while trying to run is just to intense, I don't recommend it as a way to up the intensity.

      Personally I would go for it. You never know unless you try. It's a great feeling running with no breaks! But in the end it's up to you.

    I tried 15:1 sets, went fairly well, spiced it up with moving my pace around a bit. I'm starting to understand why people say running on a treadmill can be boring.

      I'm going to head outside once I can run 5km straight at a min of an incline of 1. Might sound silly but it is a confidence thing.

    Great run minus the kink in my side. The kink is now just above my hip bone, breathing and stretching does nothing for it.

    Had a great run, I am really enjoying doing 10:1 sets (never thought I would get there)...now if I could just prevent getting stitches in my side now and then I would be much happier.

      Nice run Christa :-) Make sure your hydrated, may help with your stitches or it could be diet prior to your run. Take note of what you have put into your body prior to each run, you may be able to notice a pattern of what is bringing on your stitches during some of your runs. This may help you, I hope -:)

      Nice 5k. I used to get alot of stitches when I first started, and now I rarely do. I think part of it is just your body getting used to it. When I do get stitch its usually because I have let my breathing get out of control. Just try to slow it down and breath deeper, making sure you exhale fully.

      Adam you are probably right, I am probably not breathing deep enough. This pace is slower than what I was doing before and I find breathing really easy so I'm not really paying attention to make sure I'm take deep breathes. I probably also need to wait more than one hour after super. Either way I'm just happy I can run this much.
