  1. RUN
    blah neighborhood 4.1 mi 00:37 08:56 pace

Bad bad run! I had to stop 5 times and stretch my Achilles Tendon. I feel old and broke. I'm taking tomorrow off.

  2. RUN
    good Neighborhood 3.5 mi 00:32 09:00 pace

Took it slow, since I lacked motivation. Tomorrow is another day, and my last day to run until Sunday. I'm hoping for a little time on the trails on Sunday.

  3. RUN
    good Neighborhood 4.5 mi 00:38 08:25 pace

It would of been an awesome run if the humidity was lower. I also got the girls out of bed after my run and had them run a few laps around the neighborhood.

  4. RUN
    blah neighborhood 2 mi 00:17 08:39 pace

I just wasn't motivated. Maybe tomorrow will be a better day.

  5. RUN

Left hip was sore, so I took it easy today. Nice cool morning again. I'm getting spoiled with these cool mornings.

I know...the weather has been stellar as of late. A far cry from those 20ยบ morning runs during January / February. Smart training and good job getting out!

  7. RUN
good Dickey Ridge Trail 3.7 mi 00:40 10:48 pace

Ran with my daughter. I'm trying to prepare her for cross-country this Fall. We saw a bear, it was cute. Emelie tripped on a rock, but sucked it up and continued down the trail. I don't... read more

I'm planning on running that trail sometime in the near future - pretty cool to see a bear!

I had a friend that ran the entire trail last week and he saw two bears at different points on the trail. The population of bears has been high over the past couple of years in the SNP. It's always cool to see a bear, it makes the run more exciting.

  8. RUN
    good neighborhood 4.2 mi 00:35 08:20 pace

I also added mowing the lawn and washing the dog to my workout. Washing the dog was the toughest workout! ; )

If you hook a Garmin up to your mower, you can count those miles too (although your pace will probably suffer a bit). Nice run/workout!

Jeremy's Run hike in the SNP with the family. We let the girls play in the run for around 30 minutes, it was cold but refreshing.

  15. RUN
good Manassas Battlefield 7.5 mi 01:22 10:56 pace

I used to to that, then when I realized my GPS isn't always that accurate I gave up. Sometimes I still go a little further but it usually to stretch out a half mile or so.

I do that! Good to know I'm not crazy haha. Also, I've done several photography sessions at that Battlefield. I'd love to run there some time. Good job and great day for it!

Aaron, sometimes I just pick a small town and run up and down the roads. It's a good way to explore a new area or town.
