Nah, Bananas are still $0.49/lbs and a $0.99 hamburger from McD has pretty decent macronutrients (except the saturated fat, and I'm not going into the details of the quality of beef etc.). It's because of ignorant moronic parents.

So you're saying McDonald's has cheap bananas on the menu, Greg?

And some salads are worse than burgers. Have you seen the calories in the salads at Applebees?

Don't forget TV, video games, carbonated high fructose beverages.....and most of all.....obese parents! I work in healthcare and am disgusted that 90% of people's medical problems are preventable diseases.

Obesity worked for me. I married a 105 pound young girl. Ten years later she was 250. I was able to dump my girlfriend and I was still ahead poundwise. At 300 she qualified for group insurance all by herself. She finally decided to get rid of 150 pounds of ugly fat. She divorced me.

@Ken W. No, I was saying people should go to the grocery store and buy beans, rice, oatmeal, bananas, Greek yogurt and fresh produce. Who said you need to go to McD. But when I go to McD I buy two dollar burgers and a side salad with no dressing for a grand total of $3.
