Good and Bad. My goal was 14-16 at a 9:00/mi. I ran with a couple of students and we were on pace or ahead until 9.5 mile point when we hit the back stretch and a headwind. The my pace slowed down to 9:40ish and I decided to take it to the house and finish with 13.1. The good news is that we ran it 1 min 41 seconds faster than two weeks ago and it was a sub 2 half. So I'm somewhat content with that. However, I have a long way to go if I'm going to run a sub 4 marathon on March 10. Have a good weekend everyone. 9:11/8:56/8:55/9:01/9:00/9:00/8:528:58/9:04/9:009:16/9:39/9:43/:58

Nice run - race adrenaline will easily give you quite a bit of time, so nothing wrong with the pace on this run if sub-4:00 is your goal.

Great work especially with the wind issues. I am sure you will rock the sub 4!

Thanks everyone! @Steve, refuel complete, recovery in progress, kind-of. See my next post. May get a run in tomorrow. @Greg, I'm hopping the adrenaline doesn't get me in trouble early and then die out later. @Tom, I would love to run with you. I don't know if I will keep up with you for long, but I'll try. There is also a guy named Eddie in Brunswick that would join us. He is a DM friend of mine with the red shoes profile pic. He is a little more your pace.
