Guys. Just discovered the Runkeeper App for iPhone is currently free (I think it's usually $10 or so). I've used it a bit in the past. Good app but doesn't unfortunately talk to dailymile.

Hm, I spent about 6 months tracking my workouts with my nokia and it worked fine for the most part but since I got a Garmin I have never looked back - not sure how good the gps of the iphone is but the reception of the garmin is probably much better than that of a phone which is esp important on trails and any sort of diverse terrain. on the other hand it is probably simpler to just carry a phone ...

Oh, well, that's fair. I got mine as an early Christmas present - a friend of mine was visiting from the US so I ended up paying around 160 AUD for a Garmin 305 ... with the exchange rate so high it is a good time to shop from the US.
