My achilles was feeling tight from the marathon yesterday, so I decided to play it safe and just do a walk today. We were driving home (through central Northern California), along some country roads, and found a nice little forest service road to walk on. Saw absolutely no one the entire time. Started out on the slower side and picked up the pace as my achilles loosened up. Went out to a reservoir, took a few pics, and then turned around and headed back. Was pleased with my walking pace, and managed to get in quite a few miles in a little less than an hour. Felt pretty good! :)
