    Just a little farther than Thursday. Pigeon Forge is a less than ideal place to run, until you look around a little. Oh yeah, and there are plenty of mountains, if that's your preference!

      Believe it or not, you can do 8 flat, scenic, shady, relatively car-free miles right there in Pigeon Forge (if you don't mind an out-and-back).

      Yea, I need to work on pace, so how better than to kick it up a little at the end of each mile! I ran the last .2 of each mile at about a 35 second faster pace.

      Your doing a great job and I feel like farleks helps me out with picking up speed more than track work did.
