  1. RUN
good Downtown, getting reaquainted... 15.1 mi 02:34 10:13 pace

Nice downtown run, at least half of which was against the wind, serious wind. Not complaining, just explaining.

  2. FIT
    good the gym 02:00

core, weights, spin with Chris. First cross train in 3 weeks - really felt the missed workouts!

  3. RUN
great Mojo Speed Work 5.25 mi 00:46 08:41 pace

1 mile easy warm-up, 800-200 X 5. All the speed segments at or below the 8:00 goal pace. 1 mile slow cool down. Time is not very accurate, but it was a good workout.

  4. RUN
    great BRB-EglRdg-WdBrg-EgRdnorth 10.21 mi 01:41 09:54 pace

Caved to p(b)eer pressure and missed yesterday's run, so I hit the hills this morning - Eagle Ridge north+ & south+, & some Becket Ridge. Slow but very nice run on a foggy morning.

  5. RUN
good Miami Meadows & the 'hood 8.1 mi 01:19 09:46 pace

slow, but steady gets it done. Running 65 miles in six days turned out to be more difficult than I had anticipated. That's a weekly miles PR for this boy. I have a hunch that one will stand... read more

  6. RUN
tired Union Centre 10 mi 01:36 09:37 pace

Another beautiful day. Thankful for Dingle House beer week - tonight it was brews from Founders that eased the achy muscles.

  7. RUN
tired Miami Meadows & around 11.89 mi 01:58 09:56 pace

Quite a bit slower today. Time for a rest day!

  8. RUN
    good Mojo-Kemper-Gano-Allen-W.Ches... 10.2 mi 01:37 09:31 pace

Planned to run 15, but life got in the way, so a nice 10 will have to suffice. Another February shorts run! What's not to like?

Thanks. I was going to run 65 miles next week to celebrate (deny?) my 65th birthday, but when I saw the long-range forecast, I decided to do it this week instead. Three days in and 35 miles so far...

  9. RUN
good Neighborhood streets, flat 11.25 mi 01:48 09:36 pace

After yesterday's 13.9 miles, I figured a little run on tired legs would serve me well. Now they are really tired. But what a nice morning to be out. The warm days have the local tree frogs... read more

  10. RUN
good Mojo Run 13.9 mi 02:15 09:44 pace

  11. RUN
    good hoodx2-park+lane 8.2 mi 01:18 09:31 pace

Flat, but good run this morning. Felt good to be out there in shorts in February again.

  12. RUN
good Milford hood + park flat run 7 mi 01:07 09:35 pace

A little recovery run after the race yesterday. Your recovery is allowed to be longer than the race, right?

  13. RUN
    good Cyclones frozen 10K 6.2 mi 00:57 09:14 pace

Nice sunny day for a race, and it wasn't windy, either. Plenty of fun down by the river, even though it was a little chilly. 3rd in age group, but no PR for this boy.

    good the gym 02:00

    core, weights, spin

  15. RUN
good Mojo speed work 4.03 mi 00:35 08:45 pace

1 mile warm-up, 4 X 800, 1 mile cool down All the half mile 'speed' segments were just under the 8:00 pace, but now I need to put two of those together, back to back.

  16. RUN
good Beckett Ridge 8.53 mi 01:24 09:51 pace

Some nice hills on a chilly but sunny morning.

  17. RUN
good Mojo run with early start 13.61 mi 02:20 10:15 pace

Slow pace today. Oh well, it felt good to be out there and running with some good friends and meeting some new people.
