    Last swim before Barb's Race this weekend. Worked out with my swim coach and tried to focus on some last minute speed work.

    Went out hoping to run 13 miles. Got about 1/2 mile in before I decided I'd cut my run short. Thought I'd do maybe 6 miles.... or 3. Yeah, turned around and headed home. Dragging today.

    Shooting for 40-50 miles but was over it by 36. Not sure how I'll bike 20 more and then run a half marathon next weekend :oP

      I hope it's not hot there in Sonoma County this weekend. When Todd finished his run at Vineman it was 91 degrees. He got severe leg cramps. I really hope it's cooler for you.

      Always wanted to do that canal path when I lived in that part of the country. Can only imagine the heat w/ high humidity. Great that you got such a long run in despite the conditions.

      Still a pretty good pace. I've been running more without music lately, but when I'm by myself and need a pck-me-up, I turn to the tunes as well.

      I checked the cutoff and it said 1:15 after the last wave. i can do that! Unless there are creepy things in the water.Might run out screaming
