      You finished so strongly on this run - that's FANTASTIC! One of the best race preps you can do - and you killed it!! Tremendous job picking up the pace on tired legs - that will pay off big-time! Great job on the whole race - and I agree with you: Math during a race is not my strong suit either!! :) :)

      That's so exciting about the promotion! But I'm sorry that life stresses are wearing on you a bit. I'm glad running is helping, and I think you are doing the right thing by modifying the schedule some to fit in with all the other things on your plate! Running should be the FUN part - don't let the schedule turn into another source of stress! Sounds like you are doing all the right things. :)

      Documentaries can be awesome! Glad it made the time go by quickly! I'm going to need to do the same thing with the sugar - I've given myself a pass for a few days post-marathon, but I need to reign it in (especially since I'm not running at the moment) as I'm starting to feel lousy from all the junk!!

    Noooooooooooo! I hate these runs! They are SO HARD!! I did the MP miles at 8:57 and it was sooooo hard!!!! I have one more of these next week and I will be so glad when it is DONE! Uugh!

      Yikes!! Those cats sound crazy!! I carry a tiny dog/animal spray with me just in case :) Glad you were able to avoid a cat showdown :) And happy to hear the miles clicked by effortlessly! That's awesome!! (I also did a double-take on the pace - that would be SWEEEET!!) :)

      Mile repeats are tough any way you look at it. Great job getting it done and pushing through! Good luck on the MP workout tomorrow. Having two hard session workouts back to back is tough so just be careful. Sounds like you will have the perfect chance to relax and heal afterwards though. have fun on your mini vacation!
