  1. RUN
    Palo Corona 3.97 mi 00:47 11:50 pace

Pretty chill, running with Brian. We stayed on the flats. I would have gone farther, but stopped to help another runner who had twisted his ankle. It was a great morning for a run!

  2. RUN
great Rec Trail Time Trial 4 mi 00:39 09:43 pace

I got to run for myself today and see where I am in my recovery from the Portland Incident. I feel on top of the world! I am running at a good clip, for a good distance, and feeling no pain. I am t... read more

  3. RUN
great Big Sur Half Marathon 3:00 pacer 13.1 mi 02:59 13:41 pace

Nailed it! I had so much fun at this race. More than I've ever had at a race. I didn't have to worry about pushing myself. Erika and I get along great, so it was perfect to pair us as pac... read more

  4. RUN
good Rec Trail 6.13 mi 01:22 13:19 pace

Getting more towards my race pace.

  5. RUN
good Rec Trail 6.75 mi 01:22 12:08 pace

Still having trouble getting the pace down. I ran with my co-pacer. I think we'll be able to figure it out on race day.

  6. RUN
    good Skyline 3.07 mi 00:43 14:09 pace

First run in the hilly hood in some time. Still doing the run/walk thing. Feeling good.

  7. RUN
good Rec trail 5 mi 01:07 13:18 pace

Ran/walked with my co-pacer for the Half. It was a lot of fun (and probably the only way I can keep up with her). We were close to our target pace. I am really looking forward to the race. I think ... read more

  8. RUN
good Rec Trail 3.1 mi 00:42 13:32 pace

First run since the injury! Bill came with, and that made it all the better. I did run/walk, one because the doctor said so, and two because I am a pacer for the Half coming up and I need to figure... read more

  9. swim
    good MPC 1500 yd 00:40 46:55 pace

First workout in nearly three weeks! I thought I was going to die! It was a tough swim, but I'm happy to be able to start "easing" in to working out again.

  10. So maybe the season isn't quite over yet! I saw the specialist yesterday and he said that this weekend's Half is a no-go, but I can participate in the one on Nov 8! Especially since I... read more

  11. I think my season is over. I am pulling out of the last two half marathons I've signed up for, including one I've tried to get in for three or four years and was finally successful. I had... read more

Awe that's so sad. Don't let your injury get the best of you though. Keep being strong! Good luck!

I understand. It sucks not being able to do anything and not be able to work harder. Health is important and once you get better you can start training again and start kicking butt!

  12. RUN
good Portland Half Marathon 13.1 mi 02:14 10:12 pace

Best race I've done! The support was incredible. The entertainment and the swag were top notch!

  13. RUN
good SW Portland 3 mi 00:30 10:02 pace

    Great pre-race run.

  14. RUN
    good MPC Track 2.5 mi

Got the pre-race 6x400s. Did them all under 2:05. Yes!

  15. RUN
good Skyline and Pebble Beach 2.54 mi 00:30 11:48 pace

I had the place to myself!

  16. RUN
good Rec Trail 11.28 mi 02:12 11:44 pace

Good solid run this morning. Putting the steep hill at the end wasn't too smart, though. Ran a few miles with a friend I ran into. I think I'm ready for the HM next weekend!

  17. swim
    good MPC 1700 yd 00:45 46:35 pace

    Killer! Especially after track!

  18. RUN
    good Sunrise track 6.19 mi

4 laps w/u, 3x 1.5 mi repeats at 10k pace, 2 laps w/d. Tough!! All laps below 2:25, except for the one at 2:26.

  19. RUN
    good Skyline 4.62 mi 00:57 12:20 pace

The problem with choosing a hilly route on which to do hill repeats is that when you're not doing hill repeats, you're still doing hills!!

  20. swim
    good MPC 1700 yd 00:45 46:35 pace

Tough class. Lots of back stroke.
