      It feels pretty toasty out there to me to be honest. Very smart to wait another week before starting the program. Sounds like that's exactly what your body is suggesting :)

      I didn't realize there were 50k training plans. I've never really thought to use anything like that and run a bit more spontaneous, but I can imagine it'd prepare you pretty well!!

      One thing I did NOT do last year, but will do this year: run Wabash / Mopac a couple of times. The first 23 miles are on Mopac, it's much different than pavement/trail. Just my two pennies...

      I love being able to have the time to work in a running commute! Sometimes it's just enough to perk up a regular routine. But 6 miles is a pretty long commute! Great job so soon post marathon!!
