  1. RUN
    Avery's Mile 1.37 mi 00:14:51 10:50 pace

My nearly 6 year old wanted to run tonight. She ran her fastest mile at 10:45! We stopped and played at the playground before running back to the apartment. I'm so proud of her!

  4. RUN
    Failed Run 5.23 mi 00:53 10:06 pace

Set out for 11 miles and called it quits after 5. I haven't felt good running in a long time and I wonder why I'm even still considering doing the half in November. I hurt and I'm no... read more

Everyone has off runs and days and even weeks/months--you're a great runner even if you've been hurting lately! This stupid surprise return of summer heat/humidity doesn't help either. I believe in you 200%, but that said, it's not a bad idea to listen to your body if it's asking for a break.

Remember you run for fun, November is a long way off, take some time off and think about why you run not because you have to.
