  1. RUN
good Thanksgiving Run 2 mi 00:30 14:48 pace

Even though I've taken a few months off to help my knee recover, I felt I had to do my thanksgiving run. Not the distance or time I was hoping for, but at least it's something. Had to sto... read more

great Track run 3 mi 00:29 09:45 pace

Much better than Saturday's run. Finished feeling good and accomplished. Also found out it's my gps that's screwed up. =/

  4. Not gonna lie, I feel accomplished. My friends and I formed a running group for our area mainly geared towards people our age, but open to anyone. We call it the Sexy Runners Society. =) Check it o... read more

  5. RUN
blah Horrible run 2 mi 00:26 13:00 pace

I'm losing faith in Nike+. It said I was 1.5 laps short when I was at 2 or 2.25 miles. I lost track. Diet didn't help my run, either... Bleh. Let's try again tomorrow, shall we?

I've never used Nike+, but it sounds like a calibration issue. At least you did two miles today -- that's better than no miles! Yes, yes, yes -- try again tomorrow!!!

Thanks, you guy! And it turns out it was my gps. My phone most likely triangulates my position instead of using true gps.... Which would explain a lot. Fixed, now, though! =)

great Welcome back run 2 mi 00:22 10:48 pace

Felt great to be back! Timed the first 12 minutes and it was 1.12 miles roughly. Gonna test that again in a few months.

  8. Nothing like watching people run in a race you were registered to run...

Go Michael go!!! It is always hard when you get sidelined with an injury or life! Way to go to make a decision to get back out there! You can do it! I love marathon training; it helps keep me focused in all areas of my life.

@Kendall: thanks! Hopefully training will have the same effect on my life. God knows I can certainly use it!
@Tim: thanks for that! I plan to slowly ease myself back into it... Even though I don't want to. Haha
@Gina: that's great! Maybe we'll cross paths while training or even race day!

  9. RUN
good Fresno State 3 mi 00:41 13:39 pace

I've been off for quite a while because of my knee. It's getting better but apparently affecting my runs. Oh well, at least I can run again. =)

  10. So far this week my knee flared up, my foot started hurting, and my shin splints flared. looks like more stretching and icing for me..

  11. RUN
    great 10 mi 02:02 12:09 pace

That had to have been one of my best runs. There were times where i got sore, but after a quick stretch I was back to running.

  12. I've been sick all week. I feel well enough to run today, but might as well take advantage of my rest day and prepare for my long run tomorrow. 10 miles!

  13. RUN
    tired Selma 9 mi 02:06 13:59 pace

Could have been better, but I made it all the way. I was tired, thirsty, hungry, and not adequately warmed up. Note to self, be better fed, hydrated and warmed up next time.

  14. RUN
great Jackson Track 5.18 mi 01:00 11:35 pace

It was nice to just run and clear my mind.
