good Womack Loop 2 6.12 mi 01:18 12:44 pace

Started this run just before sunrise - the temperature was hovering right around freezing which I like, and it started out good but then my lower back tightened up which put me well into the "slog" zone. Meh - I think it was still better to do the loop than not and I just focused on looking forward to the scenic highlights on this route vs. worrying too much about how it felt.

I hope everyone has a great Friday!

Sorry that your back is uncooperative. Hope that clears up quickly. Despite that you got some nice Friday miles on a frozen morning

I wonder if temp had something to do with it. Get stretching!

Nice miles on your Womack loop, Mike. In really cold temps my back will have a cramp when I run uphill. It shakes out on the downhill.

Hope that back bounces back, you think you were a little tight from the cold temps? I know I tend to tense up when I'm cold, especially at the onset of a run.

Thanks everyone! I agree that cold and lack of stretching enough are factors for sure.
