I figured that I'd finish 2018 with a slightly new route just to mix it up a bit and to overlap with the Mt Vernon route that I've been missing since the construction is still a mess. Plenty of terrain changes to keep me occupied.

Surprisingly mild out this afternoon with temps in the high 60s. Made for a lot of people walking dogs and kids playing various games outside. Fun to see a crowd out there.

I'm definitely looking forward to 2019. 2018 was neither my best or worst year, but I've identified a couple of training goals for next year to work on that I hope will help mix things up a bit.
