This track workout combined two favorites - airhorn timed intervals and a cool, clear, starry morning. Intervals were 4 x 4 min/1.5 min then 4 x 2 min/0.5 min and time includes warm up and cool down. At least a dozen of us out there doing ovals in the dark and folks generally seemed to be in a good mood. Or maybe that was just me, although a sliver of the moon seemed to be smiling at us.

But mainly very grateful to have a good track workout - the 2 minute intervals were solidly in the nines - it's been a while. I think part of what is helping is that in addition to what I have been posting, I've been doing 15 min of core every day (some planks and pressups). Cross training is key!
