great PCMS Track 6.1 mi 01:11 11:37 pace

The new Mizunos came in yesterday and since I can't make it for the Runsofarian's workout Wednesday, a little time shifting was in order so I could get a track run in and break in the sho... read more

  8. RUN
    great N Peachtree 4.02 mi 00:50 12:30 pace

Capped off a weekend of chores and football with a late afternoon run. Surprisingly mild out - I think it was far more humid and uncomfortable outside midday. Very glad to get these miles in!

great PCMS Track 6.28 mi 01:18 12:21 pace

Forgot to post this morning's track workout - lots of short sprints and two water breaks, which suits me just fine. 6 x 200/200, 6 x 200/200, 8 x 100/100 plus warm up and cool down. It was so... read more

  13. RUN
good Sandell Rollers 3.25 mi 00:41 12:30 pace

This run started out well, but the last mile my lungs felt pretty stiff. Pollen is low, so maybe it's mold? Switched up the route to have a couple of rollers on top of a 1 mile climb in the m... read more

  14. RUN
good PCMS Track 6.1 mi 01:17 12:39 pace

Super thick air this morning - felt a little too humid for today's workout, which was 6 x 1000/200 intervals. 200 m recovery is cutting it a bit short for me, but that's part of the fun,... read more

alright Womack alternative 6.01 mi 01:23 13:44 pace

Your body doesn't know the difference between physical stress from working out or from emotional or mental stress. I always have to cut back on running around the holidays because that is the most stressful time of year for me, both at work and personally. I learned it the hard way since I had an injury pattern every year in January/February. Keep moving, but taking a step back is not a bad thing.
