Still battling a Solius injury. Hope to get back in pain free running by Boston in five weeks. Yikes, only five weeks away.

  2. RUN
    great 6.1 mi 00:48 07:53 pace

Just a nice recovery run. Didn't look at the watch until I was complete. Solius on left side is still sore and just painful in the morning. :-(

  3. RUN
    8.6 mi 01:00 06:58 pace

Held 8 miles at marathon pace (6:48) pace. Felt good considering the humidity is high right now. Not complaining though, it's better than a foot of snow.

  4. RUN
    good 8 mi 00:59 07:18 pace

Left solius is still giving me issues but better.

  5. RUN
blah Long run at the lakefront 12 mi 01:35 07:52 pace

Felt like it was hard to keep pace. Paths were mostly clear so I can't even complain about the few snow/ice covered areas.

    good 25 mi 00:55 27.3mph pace

good Queens, NYC 6.1 mi 00:46 07:32 pace

Stiff at first but loosened up after a mile. Ran past the Met's stadium, LaQuardia Airport and back to the hotel. Great weather and got all the lactic acid out of my muscles from the marathon.

(Ok, my first two comments didn't "take". I guess I can't add motivation) Anyway, I'm getting caught up on commenting and I see that not only did you run this marathon (at an awesome pace, I might add!) but you did two others, including one sub-three hour?!?!?! WOW!!! Super impressive. Seriously. Great job!!

Thanks! Between doing the ski hill loop twice and the bluffs four times, it's hard to realize just how much effort it takes to average that pace. Coming from road marathons, I never would have thought that 12 min miles would be that tough. ha
