    great Tigertown 5000 3.1 mi 00:23 07:24 pace

    22:57 on this 5K. Great weather today, humid but 72 degrees. I had the legs but not the lungs to go any faster, but still did great. It was my second fastest 5K time, just 30 seconds from my PR.

    This included two miles at 5K pace, 7:54 and 7:30, in preparation for Saturday's local race.

    This was good, a bit slower than I'd like but I was feeling tired. This one was four sets of 400, 200 and two 100s with an equal distance cooldown after each.

    This one included 35 minutes starting at a 10 minute mile pace, hitting a 7:35 pace for a lap, then ending back at a 10 minutes per mile pace. Having had a couple of days off, I had fresher legs.

    Nicer out today on the OBX trail - less humidity and fewer bugs. Didn't have to wring out my shirt till I got back to the house.
