So close! I could definitely barely run at this point due to the grueling (barely) run/hike up Godzilla during the previous run. I threw in maybe 5-10 steps of running here and there and obviously made sure I ran through the finish line. You made a final lefthand turn around the mountain to a staircase and I could see our support crew. They were, as always, awesome and encouraged me and let me know that at the top of the staircase you were pretty much there.

I could see the finish line and knew I had made it! Finally, I was a Survivor! I had a great day, even though I was no where near top physical form due to a nagging sprained ankle two weeks prior and a little bit of lax in training leading up to the race. But this was still an incredible race, so fun, and no question in my mind do I see myself coming back to this.
