So when I came in to transition, our support crew was of course awesome! Danielle had laid out everything for me on the front of my car and she attempted to help me with my shoes, but they weren't having it so I thanked her and got everything done myself. And it was time for the run.

I had made friends with one guy in particular during the bike, as we had kept going back and forth with each other. He finished the bike before me, but I got out of transition before him. So he went by me on the run within the first half mile, but we ran together for a little bit and chatted. This run had a little bit of elevation in the beginning, but nothing too crazy and before we knew it we were running alongside Lake Awosting to the other side where the first swim start was.
