I discovered some newfangled thing called a "foam roller" ~ Well, Erica told me about it. Really? WHO KNEW? I foam rolled my quads last night and before I went for my run. The left quad started feeling right.
I also tried to mid-foot strike in the Kinvara's today. When I do that, it doesn't hurt.
This was the only time of the day that I could get a run in. Man, I was seriously sweating and completely melting. I concentrated on my stride and just moving. I did take 2 walk breaks and I stopped Barney.
I had a sample of amino vital Endurance powder and tried it when I got home. It was alright but not something I would consider using.
2.75 miles 10.28 min/mile
9.48, 10.35, 8.23 (0.75)
And Then I Melted. 92 degrees at run time.
I am thinking I may get some sort of longish run in this weekend, although my training plan calls for 6 miles on Sunday. I am going to stick to that.

hee. if you really wanna get at small spots try taking a rolling pin (the equivalent to "The Stick") to massage tight small spots! :) Great run Michelle!

It's painful. I just foam rolled for a total of 2 minutes and my eyes were tearing.
