    Thanks so much for your support! As for my dad, the kidney was donated to the person ahead of him on the list, but at least now he is at the top of the list, if they find another donor match. The transplant team had him on standby in case things didn't work out with the person who was first in line. My heart breaks for my dad and all that he has been through over the past 30+ years as a type 1 diabetic, and so there was that brief period of hope [and fear] during the past 2 days.
