I went into this with no pace goal whatsoever, which is a good thing since this was my slowest half. I had a lot of fun, and treated it as a training run with a free shirt and live bands. HOPEFULLY I'll be back in top form for the Deckers Creek Half on June 2. I'd like to get a new PR there, but my secondary goal is to avoid further injury. We'll see. In addition to my Achilles Tenosynovitis, I came down with a dreadful cold/cough yesterday, which really messed with my breathing and overall energy. But as I said, it was a fun race with lots of music, good friends, and treats.
