Excellent workout Michele! Those machines are too complex for a simple mind like mine.

The trick is to master the jock head nod; just shoot your chin up and say "sup" and you'll get all the weight room street cred you need.

In the past, when I have combined a run with a lower body workout, I always ran before the workout. The risk with doing the opposite (workout before run) is you may unintentionally alter your running gait, which may cause an injury.

I always run before, that way I feel my muscles are nice and warm. I also usually stick around 3 miles on lower body days.

Running 2 days is not a slacker. Sounds like your life is a workout all on its own.
