Look at you running outdoors, and for a 5th consecutive day - training definitely seems to be on an upswing! Hope you hit the buffet afterwards to replenish the fat you burned today!

Interesting! Depending on snow conditions could be tough going; in deep snow that's a tough go in snowshoes let alone just trail shoes! Also concerned that the City of Lakes Loppet is on the lakes that weekend; I posted a comment on the blog post to make sure they're aware of this.

Well I ran on the left side so as you can see I had to run further since we ran clockwise. So naturally my pace was faster! ;)

Still sore from Sunday but the 3 @HMP felt ok. Not sure if my HR is right. It said my HR avg was 183 for the 3rd mile. I would think it would have been around 172.

183 does seem a bit high; what's your max HR? Also what were you doing Sunday that has you sore still?

Errr Saturday. Not 100% sure on my max. I hit around 187 at a race normally I can't get over 182.

So the plan is sub-2:55 at Grandma's? Or were you going to run sub-1:23 at the Winter Carnival Half?

I can see you running sub-2:55 this year. I can't see you running sub-1:23 at the Securian Half in January. Definitely both times are in your wheelhouse though. If nothing else wait until you're old like me and the times get much easier!
