    Not really in shape to run a quality half. I stayed pretty even, around 7:20 pace. The weather was excellent for January!

    Cres H. and I enjoyed running on Lake Superior today. The ice road was closed to cars today but have feet, will travel!

      I've always thought it would be fun to drive on an ice road, but running on one closed to vehicles would be even better! Cool run!!

    1 mile race with MDRA at the U of M. I probably started too slow. I haven't run much lately, so confidence was low. Managed a 5:33 mile.

    great Polar dash 15 miler 14.34 mi 01:48 07:32 pace

    I paced the 15 miler at 7:38/1:40 HM goal pace. My co-pacer and I averaged 7:33 pace, considering gps comes up about a tenth of a mile long.

    Course came up short. But it was fun to pace!

    8 miles around 6:45 avg + a mile CD. My footpods battery must be dying. Footpod would show 6:40 pace then 10:00 pace. I timed these by lap time. Tough run but also felt good!

    Luckily Colin and I avoided most of the rain and snow. It was very slippery on the sidewalks but Minneapolis did a fine job of keeping the trails runable.

      This is very impressive. I had a hard time running 9 min miles the other day. I really want to incorporate much more SLOW miles in the buildup for Boston.. True, recovery paced runs area good thing. Nicely done!
