    I hate running on gravel but I told myself I love running on gravel. I think it actually helped me. :) felt good finishing. Now I'm going to go jump in the lake!

      The mind can be a powerful thing! I find myself repeating I am not a quitter on really long runs to finish up the last half mile, and it works! Way to go!

      Trail run was my son's practice run by the high school. It had hills, a bridge, pavement, sand, gravel, twists and turns. So different from the pavement street run I'm used to. Definitely fun!!

  17. Ran the Fargo half marathon this morning. Finished in 2:29:20. Saw my 13 yo in the bleachers right at finish line. He jumped up yelling mom and I waved back. So excited. Happy day.
