I finished with 6 strides at the end so that helped the pace a bit. I also got lost a few times and had to stop to look at the map. This ended up being an interval run.

    Still not sure what strides are but pretty sure I should know. Ah well... Great run and excellent pace!

    Accellerations at the end of a work out. I think mine were about 75 yards. You gently accellerate and then slow down at the end. It's just to teach your legs to run faster. Not as hard on your body as a speed workout and you can do it anywhere and after every workout. It's less intimidating to me than the track. I'm trying to do them more often.
