alright Porterville/Sheppard Hill/Main 5.04 mi 00:44 08:44 pace
Shocked to see my actual pace thought I was running 10's for sure, if not slower on the hills. Stupid Pandora ads kept interrupting mapmyrun so twice I missed my split times. Pleased & sur... read more

Nice job getting out there early! You're making me want new shoes too... do you use DM to track how many miles you've run on a pair or do you just estimate?

Had to listen to the knee that's still tender from Skunk Cabbage and not go as hard as I wanted to today. Woke up to light snow and 36 degrees so there was frustration to run off!

good Skunk Cabbage Half Marathon 13.1 mi 02:03 09:22 pace
This has to be one of the hilliest races in the country. I tried to count them but I probably would have stopped breathing. Miles 1-7 went by relatively easily, until I was nearly struck by a van! ... read more

Nice job MD! That was a cruel finish. I completely agree. But crueler for those of you doing the half. Good job passing your nemesis in turquoise near the end. That always feels good. Glad you weren't injured running a race in our town! Hope to see you again sometime!

Way to go! We can all blame Bob Dylan for the uphill finish. That course is not the world's hilliest (I think I'm about to run that) but it sucks when the weather is not ideal.
