    good TM 5 mi 00:40 08:00 pace

So, I'm officially afraid to run outside alone in the dark here. New town jitters, I suppose? I just don't feel safe, and I don't have pepper spray anymore (since the TSA confiscated... read more

5 on the TM is like 10 on the road. I hear ya on the unsafe running in the dark though. Better safe than sorry. You need to find some partners. Safety in numbers!

Given Monday's run, I decided on an out-and-back today. Literally did a Uie in the middle of a fairly busy street. But I didn't get lost!

Cowboy eggs, so good! Tear a circle out of the center of a slice of bread, and crack an egg in the hole. If you want to be healthy, leave the yoke out!

Holy cow MD! You're amazing! Wish I could embrace the GU's but just can't. However, I am experimenting with some other nutrition forms in prep for some of my longer runs between now and wineglass. Also learning I can eat much more on the bike in a tri which makes that bike/run thing so much easier to deal with.
