Hoping the stretching and flexing works out for you! Maybe a good fast walk before striding into a run? Sounds to me like PRP works for some and nodda for others. Good luck!~)

We must share a brain and body. I was supposed to start my first half training 1/21, but still broken. And I've eaten enough for the both of us plus 3 others. Hang in there and know you aren't alone, but go to your dr and have that looked at. Could be IT band related too.

B/w work, my cold and the holiday stuff, I've found it hard to be as eager as I was in Oct & early Nov. We've all got to find our own ways of motivating ourselves through the valleys so we can enjoy the peaks! :) Hang in there Melissa.

I think it was windy pretty much EVERYWHERE today! Hopefully that wind pushed you home. Give the Garmin a good charge tonight, losing it during a run can be so distracting!

Sciatica seems to be ok...thanks for asking. I have kinda had a lot of stress this week so I have fallen off the band wagon. I need to get back on for the ride. Wish me luck...I tend to loose focus when things aren't goin' well. So, I haven't eaten very well.

Hang in there and keep up with that PT! I know a bunch of people who use the Vibram 5 finger shoes and love them. I cant use them but have heard very good things from those who do!

I tried the five toe, just couldn't get used to the toe spread, went with the NB Minimus, love em but they/you need an adjustment/breakin period. Take care of the joints Melissa! Good to see ya back!~)
