    A quick-paced, steep-climbing run up Morning Glory trail, my favorite path to the top of Cuesta Ridge. I practice trekking poles with my gel padded gloves. Great combination.

    Climbed 2,300' up Morning Glory to the top of Cuesta Ridge then breezed down Shooters. Nothing feels better than clipping along sub-7:00 and feeling strong. Finally!

    We whipped out the trekking poles today! I was amazed how easy they were to learn. Or maybe Kai's just a great instructor. Got in some quality climbing and some heat training for sure.

      Oh no, feel better soon! Is your piriformis tight? I roll mine out aggressively when I'm putting in lots of climbing/descending as they tend to lock up from all of the vert.

    Hi Mountain Rd trails 19.64 mi 03:25 10:26 pace

    Hit the trails around Hi Mountain Rd w/ Scott, Tera and Kai. The view from the Condor Lookout Tower was spectacular; the climb to get there equally so.
