Still have to baby the left groin. Hopefully I can get through what I have planned from now to mid November. If I do, I might just take the end of the year off.

You can get through if you continue to take care of it. It will also most likely mean that you have to forgo the pace you planned for. It was very slow healing when I dealt with it.

Have you tried swimming with a wet suit? It's cool because you float near the top. You could get in some serious cardio while resting your injury, and if you decided to do a Triathlon you'd be formidable due to your excellent planning ahead and researching-of-training-methods skills.
