I met Janet Oberholtzer today at the Bob Potts Marathon Expo. Tomorrow she'll be running her first marathon since almost dying and nearly loosing her legs in a horrific crash in 2004. She's very inspirational. I purchased a copy of her book "Because I Can"

    I ran behind her a little bit at Via last year. She wore a shirt with her website URL and I went to it as soon as I got home. Completely inspirational.

    Mel, I'm so glad you got to meet Janet! She is a lovely person I've gotten to know over the last few months through my running club, and I had the pleasure of running on her relay team at Garden Spot. If you happen to see her tomorrow, tell her I said good luck again :)
