    great Reunited! 2.94 mi

Early am run with my running friend! She was nice enough to wake up and do this one early the day before a 15-miler! What a trooper!

  2. RUN
    Chatham Turkey Trot 3.1 mi

Didn't think I would run any of this, but I ended up running most of it! So much fun with my big group -- including lots of littles that ran the whole way -- and just a festive group of people... read more

    great YMCA 00:55

First time taking this class at the Y. Very different than my other yoga experiences, but I really enjoyed it. Hoping to make this class every week (and maybe some others as well!)

  6. swim
    good YMCA 1100 yd

Ridiculous traffic at 630 am cut into my swim time, but I was glad to at least get it done! Refused to brave the outdoor pool in the "cold." :)

Just wanted to try out my new Y and loosen up a little

True. Play it safe, even though it's frustrating. Just keep at it without pushing too much and the leg fitness will come back. I've dealt with the same issue a few times this year after a few weeks of minuscule miles.

Walking is still moving. Maybe you should ease your legs back into it by doing a Galloway run/walk/run method? It's always hard to come back from long breaks. I find that more than two days in a row off and I struggle a bit when I run again.....even after marathons!

Thanks guys. It's not really the fitness I'm worried about (although I am now since I'm taking so much time off) as the actual injury. We'll see I guess....

Leg still uncomfortable from Saturday. Taking tomorrow off, which means missing out on a bunch of mileage this week, but I think it's necessary.
