As 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh says about his injured players, I'm "working through something". Probably a touch of plantar fasciitis. Any recommendations? I'm stretching more, icing, using the Strassburg sock at night. Anyway, that's why I haven't been running so much. Just trying to be smart about it.

Happy running!

work on the flexibility of your calf muscles. Usually pf comes from tight calves. Gotta stay flexible. Your flexibility will increase quite a bit you work on it

We need a secret handshake and we can form a club. Mine has escalated over time, been around since late May. Not horrible, but not gone either. My work through is just giving up running until its better. As well as trying to stretch, etc. :( :(

I agree with John, that it's all connected. Also, you may need new shoes, because when you wear into your shoes, things like that come up. How many miles do you have on them?

I am in the club too... pretty much like Chris, not horrible but not gone either. Running but watching the miles. I wear the sock too but I think that John is right because I have some seriously tight calf muscles. I will work on stretches too. Here's to all of us recovering soon!

Hang in there, Medic Matt. Hope that the PF blues subside.
