I'm struggling with my half marathon training this go around. It's not motivation, it's endurance (I suppose a little mental toughness is lacking as well... and training in the heat). I'm on week two of an intermediate plan. Should I stick with it and hope the distance comes back to me, or should I go back to the beginner training plan I used for my last race?

    I say stick to it. Those early weeks of any training plan are always to toughest. You got it in ya bud.

    Thanks Jeremy! I'll keep to it for at least another couple of weeks and then if I'm struggling, I'll switch over to the beginner plan. I guess it doesn't matter much, in the end you still run 13.1 haha.

    Stick with it and realize what effect the heat has on running. Your pace will slow but try and do the distances. As the weather cools you will feel stronger.
