Ah, Matt, it looks like a great 20 miler to me! Great job pushing through, sometimes it's a good thing to push past that mental/physical barrier.

A really good run in the conditions, its a tough transition to go from 20-30% humidity to 90%. Looks like a pretty good day overall, a lot of miles and the calf is doing much better.
funny thing about DM, sometimes its good in a way that it holds you accountable. In other ways maybe not so good, cause you might do something that you shouldn't. Either way it looks like you did the right thing.

@Jay, I actually have a small cairn terrier (like Toto in the Wizard of Oz) that lives in our house--darn thing was sneaking out of one room while I was going in and i did a half jump/skip not to step on it. The pain is in a different spot than before, not sure if that's good or bad. Guess I'll think twice before saying I'm healthy.

  20. Finally actually registered for Sunday's 13.1--hoping for 1:32:39, that would both be a 1 minute PR and, according to McMillan and others, predict that a sub 3:15 time for Grandmas is possible.
