Whoo hooo! I got a 31min PR, a Boston Qual time and a sub 3 all in one day! Also I placed 10th overall! If this was a more popular race there would have been 100s of runners ahead of me but I'll take it. I got 4th in my age group too! I have much to celebrate. My race started out fantastic as I was running perfect 6:25 splits for the first 10 miles. Then I started to taper off just a little but I still felt strong. At mile 18 I started feeling a little tired and the real work began. Mile 22 met me with some severe leg cramps, I needed salt bad! The last 2 miles were the worst of my life and it was all I could do to hold on. I survived though. Thanks to all the volunteers who helped me at the finish line because my body was in bad shape. It was cool seeing familiar faces I've met over the past few months thanks to Alisyn G. I am proud of her for the race she ran today!
