I just bought a brace for mine to protect the ankle while cross training. Felt pretty good during a KB workout last night, doesn't restrict plantar flexion/extension, but it does help support eversion/inversion. http://www.shockdoctor.com/product/ultra-gel-lace-ankle-support.aspx
