      Thankfully, we've got tons of hills up here in DC. This will be the first half I've actually trained for, I usually use your approach. I hadn't looked at the qualifying times for New York in a while, but they raised the half time to 1:21 from 1:18 ... a big change, and one that brings it a lot closer to reality for me. I think we're decided on Charlottesville, we want to go enjoy the wine tasting nearby after the race!

      That's awesome. Nice to have the NYC qualifier incentive as you train. I would think 14-16 weeks is plenty for a half. That would put you starting sometime soon.
