ME TOO! Mile 20 was terrible, and what happened to the plethora of water stations the first 17??? I mean you could not pass a mile without a water station, and then the northern hike from 17 up it began to get really hot, and no water...that is what irritated me I think and I started to fall down too. Great job though!! See you for San Diego!!! WOOHOO!!!

I gave a comment on the race website after the race about the water stations vanishing after mile 17. I received a response that they are always trying to improve, yadda yadda yadda. The weather sure was awesome, tho. Thanks for the kind words. San Diego will be awesome!

I will let this run go as you have had to cut back lately. Nice pace. I am feeling very encouraged about the 26.2!
The knee is of concern though. You have to decide if the pain you are feeling is something you can run with or is it something that is a warning sign that damage is being done. Let's chat on this soon.

Its weird. At times, I get pain on the inside of both knees during runs, but it passes. I usually don't get pain at the surgery site until after the run, but it will pass as well. When I talked to my ortho, he said having the pain will probably be part of all future running, so I am just resolved to it. I have scheduled two massages this week, and will keep icing. I am going to baby it just like you said to. I have to go to SF this week. I will email you about my LR yesterday.

  20. RUN
good TM at Fitness 19 4 mi 00:35 08:45 pace

1/19 - stupid weather. Southern Cal getting drenched and hit with tornados and lightening storms. I hate the treadmill. Used it as a hill/speed route. Bleah.

You can easily transfer any run to the mill when needed. Were you trying to do the run scheduled for Monday?
