      As stupid as this sounds, liquids in doesn't cool you off. Liquids over the head, yes, albeit temporarily. You did the only thing possible to cool off and that's slow down.

      Thanks for the encouragement, everyone! The stresses of moving are really starting to hit as we prepare to leave Florida and call Kentucky our home in only 2 short weeks. My treadmill is collecting dust in my crowded garage so that potential buyers can look at a less cluttered house so running has become less convenient these days. I'll try to keep putting in some miles but won't be able to settle back into a routine for at least 3 weeks.

      They say a move is right up there as the top life stressors. So try not to add more stress by worrying about missing training runs--you will get enough in here & there. And hopefully when you do run it helps relieve some of that stress. Nice 4+ you got in today Matt.

      Well this looks like a great run Matt. Love it when it just sort of falls into place. Not sure if you need to lose 20 lbs but there is no doubt that doing so would make you more efficient. Do you do any strength work at all?

      I weigh about 195lbs. Some running/weight charts I've looked at say I need to weigh (in general) no more than 175. I do push-ups and sit-ups but nothing more at this point.
