Tempo part II. Did 800m on the track to calibrate the Garmin Foot Pod (6:58). Meant to do it as a recovery but I couldn't hold back on the track. .5mi recovery (9:58), 4miles (6:59), and almost 2mi cooldown (9:30). Hip hurt. I'm thinking cortisone shot but for now I will grin and bear it.


Nice run Martin. I am happy you were able to run, although it would be nice if you didn't have the hip pain.

2 weeks from your goal race? I can understand your point of getting the shot, popping a crapload of Advil, and running through it so you can do the race. Of course, I am the poster child for destroying your body due to dumbness. What Would Lobo Do? :) (He'd rest it in 2 weeks---in theory)
