This IS the Bridle path. The paved bike path is a yellow stripe 5' shoulder of the one-way loop road. In fact, the loop road speed limit is 20 mph and has very little traffic.

I've had no luck with belts and have a couple different handhelds that I use. (I also have a backpack that I've never tried.) Not ideal but I've gotten used to running with something in my hand (bottle, phone...). Maybe one of those can holder hats with the hose coming down? :)

Okay okay. i'm sorry for keeping you guys up all night waiting for my decision. So, here goes. I decided that I MIGHT use the held held today in Elgin. I heard that the major local, national. and world news agencies. including al Jazeera, will be on hand at the start line, all trying to be the 1st to get the story. Oops, gotta scoot. I've had the Vomeros 4 thru 6. I tried both Aisics and Brooks this Spring, and decided to go back to my old faithfuls. Probably the most cushioned shoe on the market. For me (6'-3" x 197 lbs), running light/running barefoot hasn't worked out.

Elgin 10 Miler on Saturday and just can't get it going. Still grieving over loss of my best friend - my Collie. Went to run the FP where we used to walk, and sat in the car for over an hour before forcing myself to run the roadway instead of the trail. Maybe today. YOU, keep running, peddling, swimming, and smiling.
