Must be a great feeling, getting the miles in first thing...and not having to think about doing them after work. Great pace too! I wouldn't know because I HATE getting up in the AM early to run. Of course, I have to get up for work at 5:30 as it is, so I'd be up at like 3:30 if I did AM runs. hehe... this is just how I justify my laziness:)

@Bob - agree 100%. cant complain when it comes to cute pups and people talking to birds. @Joelle - i had it a little easy since he was running at me. If i had to chase him down maybe a little tougher task. @Ramsey - im lucky enough to work from home and have a great boss that understands my running affliction/addiction. I do find myself still in my running clothes for a while after the run though....

Actually in 2011 I really liked two the two bands on Long Wharf. One was doing Jimmy Hendrix riffs, and the second was doing Guns N Roses. So maybe they'll cut back inland for a bit, and then zig toward the train station / Fair Haven?10 days ago • Like

I have asked one of the big wigs if they can get the Hendrix band that plays at Branford and Fairfield. Once I get the name of the band he said they would call em and see if they will play. Love that band.
Ill see if i can sneak another peak at the proposed map again next week.

Hey, Mark!!! I am running that one, too. Probably much, much slower than you. Would love to meet up. I think I will be wearing my neon yellow Pearl Izumi jacket, black leggings and a while tutleneck. Black and purple Nike Frees. How will I know you?

Im not doing the Build Up this year - so rain check on the meet up. But usually I'm easily spotted at races with my bright orange shoes, my Buddy Holly glasses, and my need to shave. Most people in my club will be there running the 20k....just had to skip out on the series this year. Have fun and good luck tomorrow!
