Walked with my son to get an Icee and get some exercise. My hip has been hurting ever since my 5-miler....walking for awhile until that goes away.

2nd C25K run in my vibrams. My calves and arches are complaining so I took it a little easy but I am still so happy to be running! Slow and steady til I'm back to my fighting fitness. :)

Maggie, I'm so sorry to hear about this BUT a) glad you have a diagnosis and 2) I can vouch for the miracles that PT can conjur. I was diagnosed with hip bursitis in 1989 and due to running 9 months in the wrong type of shoe, it returned. I did not have to have cortisone injections, I had a lot of phono treatments on both hips in which a topical cortisone cream is applied to the skin and it is "pulsed" into the joint. All the best, you're gonna be fine!!!! =)

Awesome performance, Maggie!! You did a fantastic job for a first half-marathon! The whole experience must have been so exciting. I haven't done a race yet, not even 5K, but someday I hope I'll be up to a half-marathon, too.
