Hey, Marissa, sorry you're dealing with shin pain :( have you tried running on your tip toes/balls of your feet? I was having some shin pain earlier on and it seemed to help my shins. I know it feels kinda awkward, but it might help even to do it a half mile at a time to give your legs a break from the impact they get when your heels hit the pavement. Hope you have a great run on Sunday!

I had my trainer who gave me a really hard endurance buidling circuit. The weights are getting heavier and it's getting harder. I had trouble climbing the steps from the subway this morning.

They are like 5-6 months old. I plan on replacing them after our race. It's probably bc I didn't stretch enough after Saturday. I have to be careful with that.

Started out running but after a mile or so I had shin pain so figured I'd layoff and do some lifting.
